Hyde Park Engagement Session- Boise Engagement Photographer- Jordan + Bobbie

Bobbie and Jordan reached out to me back in September asking if I had any availability for a fall engagement session in Boise. In that email, I learned that Bobbie and Jordan have been together for 11 years and have a rather sporadic and crazy life together with Jordan working as a pilot and they were going to finally announce their engagement as soon as they had photos. I was honored to be capturing such an exciting and I’m sure long-awaited time in their relationship! Thankfully I had just quit my full-time job so I had way more time on my hands and after a few scheduling changes, I was finally able to get them in the books for an early November session and I just love how it turned out!

We threw out a couple ideas for location but as plans changed I was worried that the gorgeous Boise fall leaves would be gone by then. Bobbie and Jordan’s only ask was that we get some fun shots in their Dodgers jerseys. We eventually landed on the idea of starting out at Sun Ray’s in Hyde Park, where Jordan proposed, and then taking a walk up Camelsback to get some gorgeous Boise Foothills views! The weather was perfect and we ended up having so much fun! I love it when couples incorporate their personalities into their photos and I’m so glad Bobbie and Jordan were willing to do that. This session felt like 75% hangout with new friends and 25% engagement session.

I am STOKED that I have now booked their wedding this spring as well! I have a feeling it’s going to be an absolute blast after getting to hang out with them for an evening! Congrats Bobbie and Jordan!
