Taylor Bellais Douglass

I’m Taylor and I am a portrait photographer based in Boise, Idaho.

I am a 28 year old enneagram 6, , newlywed, Chipotle enthusiast, Arizonan living in Idaho, and photographer.

I found photography on accident when I was 15 years old and never dreamed it would be my career. I wanted to be in my high school’s yearbook class or something (I honestly can’t remember anymore), but ended up with my second choice- digital photography. Initially this bummed me out, but had not clue where it was going to take me! I took my first client when a friend of mine offered to pay me $20 to take her senior photos. I posted them on Facebook and by that Christmas, several of my parent’s friends were asking me to take their Christmas card photos. After high school, I went to college for nursing with the intention of doing photography every now and again but it slowly turned into a passion that is now my career.

I dropped out of college and have been focusing on building my photography business ever since. I’m back in school now, but photography is always going to be a huge part of who I am. I love connecting with people, capturing them exactly as they are, and making them feel confident!
