Silvia and Tyson were the first couple to email me about photographing their wedding day when I moved to boise. I think I was here about 2 weeks and had them on my calendar! Since they live out of town we had to do our initial meeting on Facetime and didn’t get to do an engagement session but they were so easy to work with and I was able to make them comfortable being photographed pretty quickly.

Silvia and Tyson’s summer wedding took place at Barber Park in Boise Idaho

I love that my first wedding in Idaho was at Barber Park. At the time it was such a huge change for me and getting to shoot a wedding by the river surrounded by trees was unbelievable. The colors they chose were so simple- dusty blue, some gold tones, white and green- and they looked gorgeous against the scenery outside. The reception and ceremony space was a room with huge windows and since the sun doesn’t set until after 9:00 in Idaho we had beautiful lighting for the whole day. I didn’t break out my flash once!

I absolutely loved shooting Silvia and Tyson’s wedding. They are so in love and you can definitely tell! They laughed, cried, and gave each other the sweetest looks all day long.
