Favorite Idaho Wedding Venues- Idaho Wedding Photographer
I get asked about venues all the time. In fact, it’s probably the question I get most from couples! I’ve found it’s often the most difficult part of wedding planning and with Idaho having so many different options it can be hard to narrow it down. So I decided to make a list of 5 of my favorites from the last two years!
Boise Depot
The Boise Depot has become one of my favorites for weddings but also for portrait sessions (and not just because it’s literally 5 minutes from my apartment)! There is a ton of room for guests and there are so many options to work with- the view of downtown Boise, the Garden and the actual building itself are all just beautiful for photos.

The Grove Hotel
The Grove hotel is just the perfect situation for the couple wanting a Downtown feel! Everything is right there and you have so many photo options. When we shot Lydia and Rohan’s wedding we were able to take photos of the two of them during a short walk from St. Michaels’s Cathedral to the Grove and it was perfect! Later on at sunset we were able to pull them aside for sunset photos on a garage rooftop.

Parma Ridge Winery
Parma Ridge is a lesser known venue but deserves a whole lot more attention! The staff is wonderful, the food is incredible (I’m not kidding INCREDIBLE), and the views are just gorgeous! We had access to the Vineyards and the Hops right across the street and it was perfect!

Still Water Hollow
Still Water Hollow is just so simple and perfect for couples wanting a vintage wedding! You have access to gardens, the white chapel, and just about anywhere makes for gorgeous photos at sunset. The white chapel is what makes this venue really stand out! It’s super cute and you have the option of getting married in front of the chapel or inside. Carla and Ryan originally wanted to get married in front of it but it was boiling outside that day. Thankfully they had the ability to move their ceremony inside and have it still look beautiful!

Elkin’s Resort
I haven’t even blogged this wedding yet because it was only back in December but Elkin’s Resort has quickly become one of my favorite wedding venues- Especially during the winter! It’s right on Priest Lake and makes for an amazing view and it is just so cozy! It’s perfect if you’re looking for a venue for a more intimate wintery/Christmassy wedding. Their staff is also incredibly friendly and super friendly! More photos from this wedding coming soon!
