The Grove Hotel Wedding- Idaho Wedding Photographer- Lydia + Rohan

Lydia and Rohan’s Downtown Boise wedding was one for the books! We had a blast hanging out with them all day. Lydia reached out to me back in January when she found me on Instagram after seeing some of my photos from South Africa! She was so happy that it was a place that I love because Rohan is South African! I was immediately excited for this wedding! I finally met Rohan during their engagement session and turns out, he’s absolutely hysterical.

We started at St. Michael’s Cathedral just across the street from the Capital Building for for the ceremony and were able to get some beautiful photos before the ceremony began! The ceremony was amazing and so special. That cathedral is amazing! After the ceremony we went across the street to the Boise Capital building for family photos and then got some photos of just Lydia and Rohan as we walked to their reception at the Grove Hotel!

The reception was a party! I loved all the little South African details around the room (my heart was soaring, actually). Sunset was the best part of the day though! I love pulling couples aside for some shots at sunset after they’re relaxed and more able to focus on each other. We found a parking garage with a great view of downtown and caught a KILLER sunset!
