Still Water Hollow Wedding-Idaho Wedding Photographer- Carla + Ryan

I am FINALLY blogging this Ryan and Carla’s wedding. After this wedding my season got insane so I’m so excited to be finally blogging some of the amazing weddings I got to photograph this summer!

Carla was one of the first people to reach out to me when I moved here to Boise and I knew during our first conversation that her wedding was going to be Pinterest worthy- especially since she chose Still Water Hollow in Nampa as the venue! Since she and Ryan live in Washington I wasn’t going to get to actually meet her until the day of her wedding. We spent over a year texting and planning so when we actually met each other we felt like we’d met a million times and we had so much fun hanging out all day.

The one challenge of this day was how incredibly hot it was (for Idaho) that day. Thankfully the chapel at Still Water Hollow isn’t just for show. We ended up moving the ceremony inside and it was so beautiful! Everyone stayed cool and Carla and Ryan still got that vintage feel that they wanted!

This day was so special because not only was Carla gaining a husband but a son, Matthew, and it was so awesome to capture. I love that she chose to do first looks with all three of her boys- Dad, Matthew, and Ryan. Her first look with Matthew had everyone in the room in tears when he said “you get to be my mommy forever!” I about died.
